H&HFA MISSION; *** VERY SHORT NOTICE*** Leg 2 of 3 for Toran Gaal; ALL Chapters

July 31, 2015 @ 4:00 am

This is a tremendous story of a double amputee that is HAND-CYCLING across America. His support vehicle is manned by  Brian Riley who, himself is also an amputee, Toran has entered into the last 3 days of his incredible journey AND HE NEEDS OUR ASSISTANCE and has personally asked for HnH support. Follow his story at Ride Across America and  Please view the pictures from today’s escort on Meet Up.

There will be 2 meetups created; Friday ( this one ) from Middletown, DE to Annapolis, MD.  Meetup 2 will be Saturday, Annapolis to Iwo Jima. LEO ESCORT on hand, but they need more BIKES. Latest Press release from MD STATE POLICE on escort Friday

This is not your normal escort… Since he is riding a bike, we can use members from each side of the Bay Bridge to “Leap Frog”, meaning you can escort as much as you want and join in the escort along the route to relieve your fellow HnHFA Brothers and Sisters.  More info on the exact route will be posted here as soon as it’s available.  Let’s show Toren some HnHFA HONOR !!!

As of this moment, the escort will LEAVE Hampton Inn at 0400 SHARP. The idea is for them to arrive in Annapolis by 10:00am. The route from Middletown to the Bay Bridge will be Rt 301 to the Rt 50 split and MSP will decide to possible jump off on Rt 18 to the Bridge. There will be two great additional pickup/relieve points:  The Park and Ride on Rt 8 in Stevensville at approx 0730 hrs and Sandy Point on Western Shore (Toren will be transported by vehicle across the bridge). After being dropped off at Sandy Point, the route has not been decided as of yet, so we ask anyine who can to meet at Sandy Point.
