Sr. Road Captain… Chris “Cloner” Cloen

Chris was active duty Marine Corps from 1990 to 1994, while in the Marines he served in the infantry as a TOW Gunner.  He served with 4th Marine Regiment in Okinawa Japan, Marine Security Guard School in Quantico, VA, and Heavy Guns, Weapons Company, 3rd Battalion 7th Marines in Twenty Nine Palms, CA.  After receiving an Honorable Discharge, he returned to his hometown of Buffalo, NY.  He then enlisted in the Air Force Reserves as a Med Tech with the 914th at the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Base.  He received an Honorable Discharge from the Air Force in January 2001.

Chris was a career Paramedic from 1998 to 2011.  During that time, he responded to the World Trade Center Attacks through the New York State Mutual Aid System.  Additionally, from 1995 to 2009, Chris was a Volunteer Fireman at Sheridan Park Volunteer Fire Company in Tonawanda, NY.  During that time frame he was elected to the positions of Rescue Lieutenant, Rescue Captain, Day Lieutenant, Vice President, and President of the fire company.  He currently still lives in the Buffalo, NY area and works in Human Resources and Labor Management Relations.

Chris joined the Hogs and Heroes in 2012 as a member of NY Chapter 1.  He served as the Treasurer of NY 1, Assistant NY State Director, New York State Director, and currently sits on the National Executive Board as the Sr. Road Captain

Asked why he joined the Foundation,

“Being a Veteran, Fireman, and Paramedic, I have unwavering belief and am 100% dedicated to the Mission of the Hogs and Heroes.  I have seen and participated in the missions that our organization does to support out Military, Police, Fire, Paramedics, and EMT’s and am proud of the work our members do in their communities!”
